Our Faculty brings together five dynamic departments, namely English, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and Development Studies. Although each discipline offers a distinct perspective, they are closely interconnected in their pursuit of knowledge and social progress.

The Department of English explores the transformative power of language, literature, culture, and communication. The Departments of Sociology and Political Science examine the structures of society, governance, and human interaction. The Departments of Economics and Development Studies address the practical challenges of resource management, inequality, economic growth, and sustainable development. None of these disciplines exists in isolation. A meaningful understanding of the world requires an appreciation of the connections between history, society, culture, politics, and human aspirations. Our faculty encourages students to discover these connections while developing strong language, communication, technical, analytical, and leadership skills that prepare them for successful and rewarding careers.
