Welcome to Dhaka International University (DIU).

I would like to highlight our congenial campus environment, which upholds the values of respect and inclusivity by firmly rejecting all forms of racism, discrimination, and vilification. Such behavior has no place at DIU, and I remain committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

The university takes governance matters with utmost seriousness and is actively seeking clarity from relevant stakeholders. To strengthen our research and innovation capacity, I aim to address pressing social and economic challenges and contribute meaningfully to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

In pursuing these goals, I also focus on achieving financial sustainability—an effort that requires difficult but essential reforms to our existing structure. Finally, I remain dedicated to building a globally connected campus and securing international recognition for our academic programs and research.
