The faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy are highly qualified, energetic, young and friendly with the students and university authority is also trying their best to increase the existing facility of the students.
Students are engaged in various academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students also participate in the seminar organized by the different private & public universities in our country regularly.Our graduates are successfully working in reputed national & multinational pharmaceutical companies and organizations likes Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Opsonin Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Sanofi Aventis Pharmaceuticals Bangladesh, Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Nestle Bangladesh Limited etc.

After completing the graduation our graduate would be able to-

  • educate patients and healthcare professionals on safe use of medication.
  • demonstrate proper ethical and professional behaviour as well as adherence to all national pharmacy regulations.
  • apply basic IT skills and the knowledge of current technologies to fulfil their professional requirements and serve the community.
  • participate in continuous quality assessment projects to ensure quality pharmaceutical products.
  • show their professionalism in communication, leadership, critical thinking and problem- solving

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • • Produce graduates who can competently deliver patient-centred care and medication therapy management to adapt to evolving healthcare models.
  • • Equip students with self-directed learning strategies and the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature to maintain contemporary practice standards.
  • • Develop graduates with effective interpersonal and communication skills for optimal collaboration with patients, peers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • • Train students to identify and resolve ethical, legal, and safety issues by applying contextual knowledge relevant to industrial and community pharmacy sectors.
  • • Foster the ability to assess and address societal health concerns, demonstrating responsibility towards public health within regulatory frameworks.
