ঢাকা ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি (ডি.আই.ইউ) কর্তৃক প্রণীত নিয়োগ ও পদোন্নতির বিধান (সংযুক্ত) অনুসরণপূর্বক কর্মরত বিভিন্ন পদে আগ্রহী কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীকে (সংযুক্ত প্রো-ফর্মা অনুযায়ী) আগামী ৩১ মার্চ, ২০২০ইং এর মধ্যে পদোন্নতির জন্য নিন্ম স্বাক্ষরকারী বরাবর দরখাস্ত আহবান করা যাচ্ছে।

 

বি:দ্র: গ্রীনরোড ক্যাম্পাসের আগ্রহী কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীকে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগ/দপ্তর/শাখা প্রধান সুপারিশের পর যুগ্ম-পরিচালক জনাব মোস্তফা জামান সরকার-এর নিকট সুপারিশের জন্য প্রেরণ করবেন এবং তিনি নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে তা রেজিস্ট্রার দপ্তরের প্রেরণের ব্যবস্থা করবেন।

General Policies of Appointment, Confirmation and Promotion of the Employees/Staff of Dhaka International University – DIU

 

  1. The probation period of an employee is 1 (one) year in all cases.
  2. On successful completion of the probationary period, the service of the concerned employee will be confirmed in written
  3. An employee willing to resign from his/her services of DIU has to give two months or 60 days prior notice. If it is not done, the university authority has the right to deduct money equivalent to two (02) months or 60 days pay from his/her salary and admissible benefits due from the university
  4. All promotion will be made purely on the basis of service to DIU and no employee will have a claim to be promoted to a higher post by virtue of seniority only.
  5. There will be a committee formed by the DIU authority to evaluate the performance of the employees/staff for promotion to the higher posts and make recommendation to the syndicate and Board of Trustees.
  6. Appointment of staff may be made in anyone of any post initially for a period of one (1) year. Employees having served for more than one year may be entitled to Two Festival Allowance per year each equivalent to the basic salary of the concerned employees.
  7. Annual increment in salary can not be claim by any employee as matter of right. Increment will be given on the basis of annual confidential report (ACR) and financial condition of the University

 

Dhaka International University – DIU has made eight categories (8 levels) of employees/staff. The levels have been formulated on the basis of academic qualifications, experience, skills etc. The promotion criteria have been mentioned from one post to next post.

 

 

Trainee

MLSS, Security Guard, Cleaner, Gardener, Assistant Cook, Driver, Electrician, Lab Attendant, Cook, Library Attendant, Technician etc. (a) S.S.C and above

(b) Promotion Criteria:

Level-3

 

 

 

Grade-I: Lower Division Assistant, Lab Supervisor (Grade-1)

 

 

 

(a) H.S.C and above

(b) Promotion Criteria:

i. At least 5 years of continuous service for H.S.C

ii. At least 4 years of continuous service for Degree/Hons.

iii. At least 3 years of continuous service for Masters

 

 

 

 

Grade-II: Upper Division Assistant, Lab Supervisor (Grade-2)

 

(a) H.S.C and above

(b) Promotion Criteria:

i. At least 5 years of continuous service for H.S.C

ii. At least 4 years of continuous service for Degree/Hons.

iii. At least 3 years of continuous service for Masters

 

 

 

 

Grade-III: Senior Assistant, Senior Lab Supervisor (Grade-3)

(a) H.S.C and above

(b) Promotion Criteria:

i. At least 5 years of continuous service for H.S.C

ii. At least 4 years of continuous service for Degree/Hons.

iii. At least 3 years of continuous service for Masters

Junior Officer (All Offices)

Lab Instructor, Research Assistant, Information Officer

(a) Degree and above

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(b) Promotion Criteria:

i. At least 5 years of continuous service for Degree

ii. At least 4 years of continuous service for Hons.

iii. At least 3 years of continuous service for Masters

 

 

 

 

Level-5

 

 

 

 

Section Officer (All Offices)

(a) Masters in any or relevant discipline

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(c) Promotion Criteria:

i. At least 5 years of continuous service for Degree

ii. At least 4 years of continuous service for Hons.

iii. At least 3 years of continuous service for Masters

 

 

Level-6

Assistant Registrar, Assistant Controller, Assistant Director, Assistant Librarian, Medical Officer, System Engineer (a) Masters in any or relevant discipline

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(c) Promotion Criteria: (for level-6)

i. At least 5 years of continuous service as section officer (level-5)

 

Level-7

Deputy Registrar, Deputy Controller, Deputy Director, Deputy Librarian, Deputy Proctor (a) Masters in any or relevant discipline

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(c) Promotion Criteria: (for level-7)

i. At least 5 years of continuous service at level-6

 

Level-8

Joint Registrar, Joint Controller, Joint Director, Joint Librarian, Joint Proctor (a) Masters in any or relevant discipline

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(c) Promotion Criteria: (for level-8)

i. At least 5 years of continuous service at level-7

 

Level-9

Additional Registrar, Additional Controller, Additional Director, Additional Librarian, Additional Proctor (a) Masters in any or relevant discipline

(b) No 3rd class/division or GPA less than 2.5 at any level

(c) Promotion Criteria: (for level-9)

i. At least 5 years of continuous service at level-8

 

Level-10

Registrar, Controller, Director, Librarian, Proctor  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note: Facilities for higher academic qualification can be obtained only once.
